This a a serious problem. My laptop (dell 14r, I believe) cannot connect to any networks. This was either caused by me accidentally turning some physical switch off (I have found no such switch), or by a certain bug. The potential bug is one where (this is my problem) after turning off Bluetooth on Ubuntu 11.10, all wireless goes into a permanent airplane mode. The effect carries over to windows after restarting, and the bluetooth options don't even exist anymore on the top bar. System setting says there are no Bluetooth adapters.

hello i use my docomo(2g) sim for net on my pc i use micromaxx 310g modem.
i use these settings : APN-> TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET and connection name TATA DOCOMO
im having trouble for past 2 months.
The internet onl works when i set the network mode to gprs/edge but speed is very very low actually nothing can be done at that speed.
and wheni select the network modeHSPA/UMTS there are no signal.
my data pack was finished a few days back and my account had around 150 balance i used the internet yesterday in my micromaxx modem and it was giving speeds of around 1.3 MBps and that sucked all my balance, i recharged and also got an data pack but now the same problem is happining!! the internet connects only on gprs/edge and there are no signals on HSPA/UMTS!!
What the **** is going on man///????!!!!

so 3 days ago i added an old friend to my friends list,he accepted the request and viewed my profile a few times that day.(yes in that social network site u can see who views ur profile) he was my firstlove when we were about 6-8 years old.but our grandmas were best friends but we lived in different cities so we lost contact. and he has grown up to be a reeealy cute guy and i want to message him. should i? and what should i say? isn't it weird to guys that a girl writes him first?
p.s. he is one year younger than me and still lives in another city.

My friend recently gave me her iPhone 3GS as a gift. The phone is running iOS 5.0.1 and is NOT jailbroken. My previous phone, which was an extremely cheap Samsung Solstice 2, ran on a plan which was set up with AT&T. The plan had 500 minutes with rollover, unlimited text messaging and unlimited data usage. When I took the SIM card out of the Solstice 2 and placed it into the iPhone 3GS, everything worked fine. My contacts imported, my number moved and could receive and send calls and texts. When I tried to open Safari, the message "Could not activate cellular data network" popped up.

I do not understand what the issue is. I have a 3G SIM card, a 3G data plan and a 3G iPhone.

Do I need to change my plan because AT&T does not have unlimited data plans for iPhones?
Do I need to jailbreak my iPhone?
Do I need a new SIM card?
Will it cost me to fix this?

I bought one of the PS2 SATA Network Adapters from overseas and I wanted to know if one of my green WD HDD would work well with it. I've got 4 green drives and I was thinking about using one of those, but they're not the best for performance. Does that matter with a PS2 HDD or not? I have two Windows XP test machines. Both have IIS installed and enabled

Test01 has printers. On Test01, I can go to a browser and type in http://test01/Printers and it lists all the printers on the computer.

Test02 is another computer on the network, and when I go to browser and type in
http://test01/Printers I get error, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

However, on Test02, I can connect to the printers on Test01 by going to Start > Run > and typing in \test01 where I get access to the shared printers.

I'm at my wits end because I cannot figure out what's wrong. Please help.
